the label itself was founded in jan 2006. the design is very simple and modern with a hint of russian constructivism.

Ute ploier is a designer to die for. She takes the lightness of raf simons and the sharpness of hedi slimane. very light, modern, minimalist, humble yet sophisticated.

last week i went to a boutique called 707 in jakarta, and i was seduced by a bright geometric printed t-shirt by maharishi. I saw a male model,photographer,lighting set,etc at the corner, they we're having a photoshoot inside the store, maybe for a magazine spread.

and yeah back to the maharishi t-shirt, i was really seduced by it, by its bright colours, the geometric shapes, the stripes and formed a star-like shape. then i tried to reach the price tag and read.it was Rp650.000(USD65).it was quite expensive, then i went home, still thinking about it.

and yesterday i decided to buy it.but voila!!. it's sold out.
how stupid, i should've bought it last week!!!.
